  6. The "Corel Graphics 8.0.2 Update" application updates English releases of CorelDRAW™ and Corel PHOTO-PAINT™ (OEM and Retail) from version 8.0.0 or 8.0.1 to version 8.0.2.

  12. Before Updating

Please make sure that you install all required components (applications, language dictionaries and plug-ins) before using the "Corel Graphics 8.0.2 Update" application.  After running the "Corel Graphics 8.0.2 Update" it will not be possible to install additional items to your Corel Graphics 8 folder using the CorelDRAW/Corel PHOTO-PAINT 8.0.0/8.0.1 Installer.

  18. To update your "Corel Graphic 8" folder from version 8.0.0 or 8.0.1 to version 8.0.2 double-click on the "Corel Graphics 8.0.2 Update" application and follow the on-screen instructions.

  22. • It is not recommended that you install multiple copies of CorelDRAW/Corel PHOTO-PAINT on your system.

  24. • After updating your "Corel Graphics 8" folder some Preference settings will be reset to their default values.

  26. • When upgrading from a previous version of CorelDRAW 8, the "Corel Graphics 8.0.2 Update" application automatically creates backup copies of your Workspaces to preserve your customizations.  "Old" is added to the Workspace names - for example, the previous "Default" Workspace is renamed to "Old Default".  You can switch to old Workspaces using the following procedure:

  28. 1. Choose Edit, Preferences
  29. 2. Select the old Workspace (e.g. "Old Default")
  30. 3. Click the "Set as Current" button

  32. • You may experience problems using Workspaces which were created or modified using CorelDRAW/Corel  PHOTO-PAINT 8.0.0.  As a result, it is highly recommended that you avoid using version 8.0.0 Workspaces under CorelDRAW/Corel PHOTO-PAINT 8.0.2.
